What is community science?

Community science is a collaborative approach between communities and scientists to address community challenges. Community science approach recognizes the importance of putting together the different sets of knowledge from local community members and scientists. We believe that science offers great potential for positive and real change when put into the hands of local communities.

Current activities

We will be inviting young scientists and community members to open discussions about what community science can mean in Mongolia.

We are working with Tariat soum community in Arkhangai on improving the local solid waste management.

We are looking for a local or international scientist to work with us and the Tariat community on microplastic study.
